SHLAK Stripped of Title
During the February 5th episode of The Rob Black Show XPW owner Rob Black confirmed that SHLAK has been stripped of the XPW King of the Deathmatch Championship. During the podcast Rob stated that SHLAK has been ducking challengers like Eric Ryan, Judge Joe Dred, among others, using his creative control to only defend the XPW World Championship which he also holds. The last time SHLAK did defend the King of the Deathmatch Title was against Homeless Jimmy back on October 29th at the Halloween Hell 4 event.
Oddly enough SHLAK posted the image below on Instagram showing off that he hit the 666 day mark as champion and that he wants to “WRESTLE SATAN NEXT”. Though it appears like SHLAK wanted to defend the title, but Rob Black says otherwise.
It isn’t entirely clear what the truth actually is, all we know is that SHLAK is no longer the King of the Deathmatch Champion. The new champion will be crowned in an 8 wrestler HellsGate Gauntlet Match at the upcoming XPW show Alive & Kicking on February 25th. SHLAK’s reign of 666 days does take the top spot as the longest single reign of the title. To look back at the full history of the XPW King of the Deathmatch CLICK HERE.
